Online Therapy

I’LL MEET YOU WHERE YOU’RE AT

What if you could get the help you need, with minimum impact on your busy schedule?

Between work, family, friends and a mile-long to-do list, the thought of adding therapy to your already-hectic schedule may seem incredibly daunting, if not impossible.

You know you’d reap many benefits from working with a professional, experienced therapist…but how can you possibly indulge in time for your well-being and mental health when you’re already stretched too thin?

The good news is, you don’t have to sacrifice getting the help you need simply because you’re overscheduled. You can finally explore what’s keeping you from creating a life you’re excited about living. There is another way to make time for your values and goals.

Welcome to online therapy, a simple, effective and flexible solution.

Whether you’re dealing with relationship issues, past trauma, anxiety, a major life transition or any of life’s many challenges, online therapy can help you find your path to greater joy and fulfillment – without any added stress.

Online therapy may be a good fit for you if…

•  You need therapy to fit around your busy work schedule

•  You’re running around, taking care of your kids and you can’t easily find time for a session

•  You want to avoid the need for childcare while you’re in therapy

•  You’re a couple and it’s not always possible to meet at the same time and in the same space

•  You have physical or health constraints that make getting to in-person therapy difficult

•  You are social distancing and still want help and guidance

The Perks of Online Therapy

Effective

Online therapy is similar to traditional, in-person therapy and has been shown to have comparable results in terms of patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Flexible

A huge perk of online therapy is that you can schedule your sesions with me during your lunch break, or after you put the kids to bed, or together with your spouse–even if you’re in two different locations.

Consistent

It gets even better: when therapy is convenient, that convenience leads to consistency, and consistency is a critical ingredient for achieving your goals.

Online therapy with me follows the general format of in-person therapy and is designed for deep, introspective work that leads to lasting change.

Here’s what you can expect in online therapy

Intake Phone or Video Call

Our first step is to set up a convenient time to talk so that I can get an idea of your therapy needs and goals. During this call, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, and I’ll have the opportunity to determine if online therapy is recommended, or if meeting in-person would be best for you. A combination of the two may also be an option.

Initial Session

During our first official session, you’ll experience what online therapy feels like so you can determine if it’s a good fit for you. This is also a great opportunity for me to gather additional background information about you, and define some of the goals you’d like to achieve in our therapy sessions together.

Session 2 & Beyond

During these sessions, we’ll meet online at your convenience. You’ll be in a safe, quiet space of your choosing, where we will use proven approaches to help you learn new skills, explore yourself more deeply, and connect to a more authentic you and fulfilling life.

Will my sessions be private?

My patients’ privacy is incredibly important to me. To make sure that all sessions are completely confidential, I use a HIPAA compliant secure video conferencing software that encrypts all data. Your sessions are anonymous and none are recorded or stored.

What about technology?

There’s no need to worry about complicated technology. For online therapy, all you need is a device with a camera and microphone and a reliable internet connection. With the service I use, you don’t need to download any special apps or software to your computer or phone, and you don’t need to create an account – you simply click on the link that I send you. It’s that easy!

Invest in your happiness

Therapy is an investment in the quality of your life, your relationships and your overall happiness and well-being. For many people, it’s one of the best investments they will ever make.

I am a private-pay, out -of-network provider.

OUT OF NETWORK INSURANCE: Some companies cover online therapy, while others do not. If you meet the criteria for a mental health diagnosis and services are medically necessary, I will provide you with an invoice to submit to your insurance company under your out-of-network benefits. Please contact your insurance company for more information about your benefits and to confirm that your virtual sessions will be covered.

OTHER OPTIONS: Other options to cover the cost of online therapy include a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Saving Account (HSA). Both use pre-tax dollars to save you money. You can also ask your employer if they offer an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), or talk to your accountant/tax preparer to find out if you are eligible for a tax deduction.

FEES: Initial individual session (60 minutes): $350; Individual session (45 minutes): $285
Initial couple or family session (75 minutes): $475; Couple or family session (55 minutes): $350
